# Create an Account

Creating a multi-signature account is the first step to start using MSafe. Below are the basic steps and a demonstration video for creating an account .

Creating a new MSafe multi-sig account requires 2 parts:

1. Any asset owner / manager can initiate account creation.
2. Co-managers need to accept invitations to co-manage this account.
